Everything from movement through loops, conditions to nested structures in your winter journey
Wow! When we finish this adventure, we will be half way there! It's about time we get to know this lake's surface and make note of the dangerous areas of thin and cracked ice. We can do this!
The plan is to move forward and print the number of thin ice patches we have skated on to get the candy cane. Easy!
We need to move forward and count the dangerous patches of ice (thin and cracked). At the end, print a note of that count.
Alright, now we need to go fetch that candy cane. We need to be able to count the number of thin ice patches plus count the cracked ice patches we step on. Not only that! We need to print the thin ice patch color if the thin ice patches count is greater than the cracked ice patches. Otherwise, we need to print the cracked ice patch color.
We need to go get that candy cane and count the number of thin ice and cracked ice patches we skate on. If we find more thin ice patches than cracked ice patches, then we need to move right to collect the candy cane. Otherwise, we are going to move left to get that candy cane.
And as we have done before, when we reach the end of the adventure, we need to skate around to collect the last of the candy canes, while writing on the ice another letter to complete our Christmas wishes.
