In Golden Mountain world, students learn the basic programming concepts Sequences, Conditionals, Loops and Events, through block based programming.
This journey is composed of a set of adventures. In each adventure students will create their own program using coding blocks to achieve a task through a simulated robot.
This learning journey ends with a special adventure which is the learning project. In the learning project, students will use the Blocks learned through the journey to build a game. Students can download this game to his/her smart phone and share it with others.
In this journey, students learn the basic movement of Robo inside the field as well as functions that make changes to the field like set color and write text. Students solve missions to get familiar with Sequencing and motor actions of Robo while playing and apply some simple math concepts.
Another fun adventure is beginning! ROBO should find all the necessary tools to help him locate valuable objects. In this adventure, you mission is to help ROBO prepare the suitcase which includes tools for the mission such as: a flashlight, magnifying glasses, a shovel, and a hammer.
Cool! The backpack is packed and ROBO is ready. The path is full of turns and ROBO will need to move right and left. You need to pay attention so you don’t stray from the right path. Remember to always take the safest path. Be careful to follow the directions. Let's go!
Once we reach the top, we discover a door to the mine. ROBO finally enters the Golden Mountain! Inside the mountain, the path is dark and there are many obstacles. ROBO will have to follow them carefully and choose the best path to find the gold.
ROBO is trying to open the door, but it seems impossible. Look! The door has a lock that has to be opened with a secret code. ROBO has to figure out the code. Let's read the clues. Together we can do it.
We were able to decipher the code and unlock the door! Very good! In the next adventure, ROBO will dig up a few parts of the mine to find the treasure! Pick up the shovel and dig until you find the trunk. Caution: there is an empty trunk that could fool us. When you find it, try to open it and put away everything you find in it.
